Simplifying Payroll - For New Hires.

Payroll is hard. Dealing with multiple systems is harder. I made it easier for millions of small-business owners to add on new employees to their payroll + make sure they avoid any tax mistakes.

This project shipped in January 2024, but I cannot disclose the details of process, research and iterations.

Creating a Student-Run Thrifting Experience

An end-to-end physical and digital service designed for students to run their own thrift store during school hours, to teach them about lowering carbon emissions and not feel too intimidated to participate.

I helped design the end-to-end service, UI, Interactions, branding and strategy for clients and investors.

How Young Newcomers to Canada transition into Canadian Banking.

For my final project at the end of my UX Research internship at RBC, Hai-Dao Le-Nguyen, Serena Tan, and I conducted generative research to dive deeper into uncovering the difficulties and financial considerations that are faced by international students who are new to Canada.

This research helped identify how Canadian financial institutions can overcome gaps between what services and support newcomers to Canada need and what services and support are currently offered.

Finding Opportunities for Growth and Change at Microsoft.

In present contexts, our ever-evolving socio-cultural society, companies are not just profit making entities, but they have a crucial role in shaping our world. As consumers, we have the right to know how our data, time and money are impacting everything around us..

We conducted in-depth research using strategic foresight methodologies to explore new systems that can improve and maximize better practices and new services.

Capsule Wardrobe

A capsule wardrobe is a curated collection of essential clothing items that can be mixed and matched to create a variety of outfits. Typically, it consists of versatile pieces that are timeless, high-quality, and well-coordinated. I explored a concept I'd love to see myself, generating Capsule wardrobes based on our individual preferences to shop more efficiently.

This would allow more brands to introduce new clothing and brands with what consumers are looking for in terms of long-lasting, stylable pieces.

Tumblr Moodboarding Tool

I use a lot of moodboarding or inspiration platforms such as Tumblr (since I was 16), Arena, Cosmos, Pinterest, MyMind etc.

Inspired by moodboarding accounts on Twitter, I conceptualized a new way to resurface inspiration from those platforms.

This is a moodboarding tool that sources images directly from any Tumblr URL,  based on colour.

Vogue Vault

I created a GPT that helped you find your favourite vintage pieces across every resale platform at once. It got popular on Twitter/X and quickly got over 100 users. My friends and I use it often and are constantly iterating on it.
